With Intermedia’s Voice Services, Systek Receives More, While Paying 3X Less
Systek serves defense and civilian agencies as a Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) contractor. While its military clients may have different needs, more often than not, they face the same challenges: uncertain budgets, complex laws and regulations, and staffing disturbances, to name a few.
Following a systems review, Steven Trimarchi, Systek’s IT Manager came to the startling revelation that their phone system was among the company’s top IT expenses, outranking their computers and even the MPLS network. Systek clearly needed to implement a more cost-effective business phone system.
Steven decided that a hosted PBX solution made the most sense as he’s the only IT person. This would eliminate “worry about servicing, fixing or the breaking down of hardware.” The company already trusted Intermedia with providing business email. But would Intermedia’s Cloud PBX voice service provide Systek with the same great experience?
Steven explains how Intermedia made the migration experience easy: “We came in the next morning and our existing phone numbers had been ported. We didn’t have to do a thing.” And once the phone system was up and running, it became even more evident that Systek had made the right decision in choosing Intermedia, as it costs them “just one-third of what we were paying” in addition to saving “roughly 10 hours a week just on phone-related IT issues.”
Reliability and call quality are of the utmost importance for Systek. “We recognize the dynamic and often unpredictable operational climate our clients face. When they are able to get in touch with us, it is imperative that our voice system be always-on and ready to go—no matter what. Working with Intermedia gives us confidence that this will never be an issue,” shares Steven.
