Intermedia Unite® Again Selected as PC Magazine Editors’ Choice Winner – rating is top among UCaaS providers

Moving Up in Ratings

PC Magazine’s newest review of Intermedia Unite ups the product’s rating from a 4.0 in 2019, to a 4.5 in 2020.  Although it may appear to be a small bump, this new rating puts Intermedia Unite at the top of the UCaaS class. As the reviewer notes, “Intermedia Unite has been a PCMag Editors’ choice for years, and it gets better every time we test it.” In particular, PCMag highlighted incremental improvements  around integrations, voice, and video conferencing as primary contributors to the increase in score

Integration Updates

The reviewer noted that the product has expanded its integration capabilities beyond Microsoft, providing full support for scheduling with Google G Suite and Slack. Further, the integration with Microsoft now includes voice with Microsoft Teams, so users can make and take calls from within that platform. In addition, integrations with leading business applications continues to expand, including Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk, SugarCRM, and many more – all to further streamline workflows and maximize employee efficiency.

Phone Enhancements

  • Spam Caller Protection for all endpoint devices is included for free in Intermedia Unite. Our spam caller protection detects calls from aggressive telemarketers and fraudsters, and allows administrators to decide how to route these calls. It also saves employees from wasting time and resources manually handling spam calls;
  • The Auto Attendant features a simple setup wizard to walk users through each step of the setup process for easier configuration and deployment.

Video Conferencing Additions

As video conferencing moves from a nice to have to a necessity in today’s business world, we continue to optimize our video conferencing capabilities in order to deliver a clear, secure, and dependable meeting environment.  As noted in the review, recent additions to our Unite’s integrated video conferencing solution, Intermedia AnyMeeting®, include a virtual assistant to record and transcribe meetings, Ma meeting history feature, which records the time of the meeting, its length, and who participated, as well as easy one-click-meeting start from your PC and Mac devices.

Consistency and Value Matter

Ultimately, businesses want products and services they can rely on, as well as getting a good value for their dollar. According to the review, Intermedia Unite checks both of those boxes, noting that Unite continues to do well “in service consistency, and “is the best value when considering price and features.” 

With our comprehensive list of features, affordability, and ease of use, PC Magazine reflected, “Intermedia remains an easy pick for our Editor’s Choice Award.”
