At Intermedia, we listen to customers closely – and take product suggestions seriously. When asked about Intermedia’s auto attendant feature, administrators said that the call routing worked really well and that the customer’s experience with the auto attendant was great. That was the good news. But, they also told us that the auto attendant routing menus in HostPilot were too inflexible. They also said that they were spending too much time setting it up, and it was taking too long to make changes. So, we got to work.
The latest iteration of the Intermedia Unite Auto Attendant has several enhancements that make it easier to use – and more powerful – than ever before. In fact, we’ve designed it so that the next time you make changes, maybe the last time you need to need to make any adjustments at all!
It’s more flexible. With Unite’s new holiday menu options, you only need to set up holiday routing options ONCE for your company. These new menus works with monthly and yearly recurring events, as well as one-time events scheduled in the future. When combined with your regular business hours routing schedule, you can now set it – and forget it.
It’s more intuitive. With a new visual weekly schedule view, administrators can now clearly see which routing instructions are active at any particular time during the typical business week. For instance, you can clearly see that working hours routing instructions are in effect from 9 to 6, with lunch instructions from 12 until 1.
It has better performance. The back-end of the Auto Attendant has been completely redeveloped with much faster performance, better features, and the ability to add even more exciting enhancements in the future. Administrators will notice that setup and changes are much faster than before.
